Make sure to inquire about early check-in options, as it enhanced our experience despite standard check-in being at 5 pm.

We had an awesome getaway with friends! We explored the stunning Dartmoor scenery and relaxed at one of the best beaches, perfect for surfing. The hosts were fantastic. they made everything easy for us, and the beds were super comfy. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for a fun group vacation.
Nothing to complain about! Everything was great during our two-night stay.

The Double Room was really cozy and had everything I needed. It was a tight fit, but it felt snug, kind of like being wrapped up in a warm blanket. The bathroom was tiny, but I managed just fine. I slept really well without any noise issues, which was a plus! Just a small journey from the main road and the town center, so that was convenient too.

Charming spot by the river
Had a fab 5-night stay! The hosts were so friendly and helpful, really made you feel at home. The breakfast was amazing—loved the outdoor dining area! The room was cozy, but a bit snug for our family with kids. Would've appreciated more space, but everything else was just perfect.

I had a lovely stay for 2 nights where Paul and Carla went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even with our late arrival. The sun terrace was perfect for lounging, and we enjoyed the cozy leisure room to unwind. The room felt a bit cramped and warm, but the provided fans really helped! 😊

Had a cracking stay at Kingfisher Cottage! The breakfast was a gem, proper scrumptious cooked to order. The friendly vibes from the host made it feel like home. Plus, the location's spot-on—easy peasy stroll to Tavistock's buzzing centre. The views over the river added an extra splash of charm!
Alright, the duvet was a touch too toasty for my liking, and the washbasin felt more like a hand-washing station.

Perfect stay for solo travelers! !
I stayed for 1 night and it was more than I had hoped for. The breakfast was just delightful, with fresh fruits and a full English cooked to perfection. It was served in a conservatory overlooking the river! ! And I must say, the host was incredibly welcoming, felt like family right from the start.
It wasn’t the cheapest option, but considering the quality, it was still worth every penny.

The location was perfect for attending a wedding in Tavistock, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming right from the start. The room was small but spotlessly clean, and it had all the essentials for our stay. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of fruits and a delicious full English that set us up for the day. a wonderful experience!
